New AG500 Policy Info

A dedicated partner for aerial applicators.

Old Republic Aerospace (ORAE) is excited to announce the availability of a new and innovative aerial applicator policy form, the AG500, on behalf of Old Republic Insurance Company (AM Best rating of A+ Superior). Starting on July 1, 2016 in most states (except as noted below), the old policy form AA 501 will no longer be available for agricultural aircraft owners and operators upon renewal.

While the old AA 501 has a great legacy, the new AG500 policy form is written to meet today’s customer expectations in providing confidence and peace of mind. The new AG500 policy is designed to be easy to read in a modern plain language format backed by the same claim service upon which ORAE has built its reputation.

We recognize that you have options for your aircraft insurance and that you are under no obligation to renew with ORAE. If you choose to renew your insurance coverage with ORAE, the new AG500 policy form will automatically supersede the existing AA 501 policy form upon renewal. The AG Policy Comparison (link below in Resources) reveals the advantages and differences between the new AG500 policy compared to the AA 501. Also, a specimen copy of the new policy form is available in the link below.

If you are a currently policyholder and have any questions regarding policy renewal, please contact your aviation insurance broker, as they can help you with all of your insurance needs.

** Please note that the AG500 policy will not be available by July 1 for insureds in the following states:  AK, HI, DC, VT, MA, ME, NY, CA, MN.  We will advise when the AG500 becomes available in those states.
